Congratulations to our ASHHRA winners for 2007!

CISHHRA continues to be a Four Star chapter, first achieved in 2005.  In keeping with that outstanding tradition we are pleased to announce two ASHHRA winners for 2007!

Canise Macomb, Employee Service Manager at Graham Hospital in Canton, has received the Outstanding Board Member Award for 2007, a designation that recognizes her long service on the CISHHRA board (8 years!) and her unflagging dedication to growing and furthering the professionalism of our chapter.  Canise has been an outstanding role model for others and has displayed enthusiasm for chapter work that has been integral in making CISHHRA successful and valuable to members.  She is committed to her service on the board, yet has fun and really enjoys all she does.

Jack Moss was awarded the Outstanding Chapter Member Award.  Jack passed away this summer and was not aware that he’d won this award, but we know his family and Illinois Valley Community Hospital are proud of him.  Our chapter has long known that Jack was a vital, active member of CISHHRA.  In his pre-retirement years he volunteered to serve on the board and contributed ideas and energy and a sense of humor that was invaluable.  He was very deserving of his award and CISHHRA will always be grateful for his contributions.

Awards were presented at ASHHRA's Annual Conference Sept 30 - Oct 2 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California.
